New Chart: Nurse Case Manager Average Salary $89,303

According to the recently released “2012 Registered Nurse Case Manager Salary Report” from Pathway Medical Staffing, the average salary for Nurse Case Managers in the New York Metropolitan Area and New Jersey is $89,303.

While the range of salary levels tightened in 2009 from 2008, the majority of registered nurses earned higher salaries in 2009.  In 2009 forty-three percent of registered nurses earned salaries within the $85,000 range.  The average registered nurse case manager salary in 2009 was $83,592.

The range of salaries was broader in 2010 than 2009.  While the majority of nurses were earning in the $85,000 range in 2009, most nurses earned between $85,000 and $100,000. In 2010, annual non-bedside nursing salaries ranged from a low of $61,000 to a high of $120,000. The average registered nurse case manager salary in 2010 was $88,194, up 5.5% from $83,592 in 2009.

2011 salaries ranged from a low of $70,000 to a high of $110,000, both of which were extremes rather than the norm.  Most non-bedside registered nurses earned within the $90,000 to $100,000 range. However, the average registered nurse case manager salary in 2011 was $89,303. This is only one percent higher than last year.
